Record/Vinyl + Digital Album‘Autovia’ originally released on Painted Word Music in 2019 is the debut collaboration for the young virtuoso violin and viola player Violeta Vicci, who creates this modern classical, atmospherically sublime album through diverse performances including vocals and piano. Producer Youth provides his vision and experience to create a string laden ambient classic, a series of pieces both euphoric and melancholic.
The album is slow burning and hypnotic, with only a suggestion of melody. It presents widescreen cinematic soundscapes for your imagination.

Both this remix album and the original release are essential. The modern classical original was such a beautiful mix of melody and mood and the remixes just go one step further. DF Tram, another of my current favourite artists, puts his own spin on my favourite couple of tracks here, but all of the remixes stand as tracks in their own right without completely disregarding the beauty of the originals. Stunning from start to end.
