Like Bukowski, I’ve had some pretty shitty jobs over the years, from working dead end jobs in corporate Kafkaesque office buildings to serving up roast chickens behind fast food counters in America’s gluttonous wanton fast food industry. It was awful, but it fed my writing. I was also in a major car accident when I was about 22 years old. I broke my neck and was nearly paralyzed, during my rehabilitation I promised myself I would never lose sight of my dreams and always work towards making them a reality. Here I am, my neck has healed, my mind rewired, but I’m still alive, so what the heck…
